Kozhikoe, April 18 -- Kerala Revenue Minister K. Rajan on Saturday stated that there are no structural cracks in the houses constructed at the Wayanad rehabilitation township for the 2024 Chooralmala-Mundakkai landslide survivors.
Speaking to the media in Kalpetta on Saturday, after an on-site inspection, Revenue Minister Rajan clarified that the reported issues were merely minor water seepage marks on the terrace. He said that there are no structural cracks in the houses.
The minister visited the houses following media reports about cracks in two houses of the 178 houses completed in the first phase. The minister, along with officials, examined the houses and verified and reportedly found that the structures are sound.
