Thiruvananthapuram, Oct. 6 -- The Revenue Department will on Tuesday begin measuring and demarcating Kerala University land at Palayam here following a Kerala High Court directive in a dispute over alleged encroachment of University property in connection with the AKG Centre, the former Kerala headquarters of the CPI(M).
The survey, scheduled to commence at 1000 hours, is aimed at determining the exact boundaries and extent of University land covered by the disputed area and ascertaining whether any portion of it has been occupied beyond the land legally allotted for the A.K.G. Memorial Study and Research Centre.
