New Delhi/Hyderabad, July 14 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Tuesday urged union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari to expedite key national highway projects in the state, including the Regional Ring Road (RRR), the proposed Future City-Bandar Port greenfield highway and an alternative road to the Rajiv Highway.
During a meeting with Gadkari in New Delhi, the Chief Minister requested the union Minister to secure union Cabinet approval for commencing work on the northern section of the Regional Ring Road, stating that nearly 95 per cent of the land acquisition has already been completed.
