Hyderabad, June 13 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Saturday directed officials to remain on high alert in view of heavy rains and take immediate measures to prevent inconvenience to residents in the Hyderabad Core Urban Region (CURE).
The Chief Minister instructed senior officials, including the Chief Secretary, Director General of Police and the CURE Special Chief Secretary, to conduct reviews on a war footing and ensure prompt response to rain-related issues.
He directed departments such as Police, Traffic Police, Municipal Administration, HYDRAA, Electricity and Water Board to work in close coordination and respond swiftly to any emergencies.
