Hyderabad, July 11 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Saturday expressed profound shock over the reported death of several tourists from the Telugu states in a boat accident near Phu Quoc Island in Vietnam and directed officials to extend all possible assistance to the affected families.

In a post on social media platform X, the Chief Minister said he was deeply saddened by reports that Indian tourists, including people from the Telugu states, were involved in the mishap. He immediately instructed officials to ascertain the details of the accident and directed the Chief Secretary to coordinate with the Ministry of External Affairs and the Indian Embassy in Vietnam to expedite relief and rescue measures.
