Hyderabad, March 7 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Saturday said that celebrating International Women's Day alone does not fulfill society's responsibility and stressed the need for collective efforts to ensure the safety and dignity of women.
Speaking at the "Stand with Her" programme organised by the Women Safety Wing of Telangana Police at the JNTU Auditorium in KPHB, the Chief Minister said the Congress party has always given prominence to women by providing opportunities for them to hold key positions such as President, Prime Minister, Lok Sabha Speaker and Chief Ministers in the country.
