Hyderabad, July 13 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Monday congratulated Telangana athlete Pravallika Narimalla for winning the gold medal in the women's 4x400m relay at the inaugural Asian Under-23 Athletics Championships held in Ordos, China.
In a statement, the Chief Minister lauded Pravallika, a student of the SC Gurukul Degree College in Nalgonda and a trainee of the Dindi Gurukul Sports Academy, for bringing laurels to the country and the state through her outstanding performance on the international stage.
Describing her achievement as an inspiration to aspiring athletes, Revanth Reddy noted that Pravallika, the daughter of a mason, had demonstrated that determination and hard work could overcome all odds.
