Lucknow, May 12 -- Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday appealed to the people to back the Prime Minister's call to reduce fuel consumption and avoid unnecessary purchases of gold.
He appealed for the practical implementation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call across the state.
During a meeting with the Chief Secretary, DGP, and all Additional Chief Secretaries and Principal Secretaries of various departments, Yogi directed that the fleets of the Chief Minister, ministers and others be immediately reduced by 50 percent. He instructed that unnecessary vehicles be removed from official convoys.
