Prithviraj SinghDehradun, Aug. 17 -- Rescuers are still searching for two missing workers of the 22 personnel who were trapped inside the Pipalkoti-Vishnugad hydropower project's under-construction tunnel of THDC, four days after it collapsed due to a landslide on August 13. The death toll has risen to eight. The 12 workers who were rescued are recuperating at the district hospital in Chamoli.
Officials of the state disaster management department said that search and rescue operations of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) are continuing for the two missing workers.
