Pune, June 10 -- Renowned marathi poetess Rohinitai Karandikar, passed away in Goa on Tuesday at the age of 82 after a brief illness, family sources said here on Wednesday.
Rohini Karandikar was a senior and highly respected poetess. Her poems and articles were regularly published in several magazines, including Satyagrahi, Antarnad, Rohini, College Katta, Chhatra Prabodhan, Phulbag, and Prajwalant.
Her poetry collections, such as "Aart" and "Panachya Jalitun," gained wide recognition among readers, some of them being set to music in CDs.
