New Delhi, Aug. 6 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Thursday paid tribute to former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on her seventh death anniversary, describing the late BJP leader as her role model and saying that her own work for society and Delhi was inspired by Swaraj's guidance and encouragement.
Addressing a memorial programme at Vasant Udyan in Vasant Vihar, Gupta said the occasion was "deeply emotional" and that Sushma Swaraj's image always remained before her eyes. "Whatever I am able to do today for society, and Delhi is the result of the inspiration and guidance I received from respected Sushma Swaraj," she said.
