Dharamshala, Aug. 7 -- Kangra Deputy Commissioner Hemraj Bairwa on Friday said registration of all private coaching centres in the district having 50 or more students is mandatory under the Himachal Pradesh Private Coaching Centres (Registration and Regulation) Rules, 2026.
Addressing a meeting of stakeholders of the district-level committee constituted under the new rules, Bairwa said the regulations aim to make private coaching institutions organised, transparent and accountable while ensuring a safe and quality educational environment for students.
He said eligible coaching centres must apply for registration in the prescribed format. Institutions meeting the stipulated standards will be issued registration certificates.
