Washington/Tehran, July 10 -- Amid flaring tensions between the US and Iran, regional mediators have intensified their diplomatic efforts to prevent the total collapse of talks between the two nations and revive negotiations on a nuclear settlement, post the recent military clashes between Washington and Tehran.

According to regional sources and a US official, officials from Qatar, Pakistan, Turkiye, Egypt and Saudi Arabia held multiple conversations with both sides on Wednesday in an attempt to contain tensions following two days of exchanges of fire.
