Sourav ShekharNew Delhi, June 19 -- The National Capital Region Planning Board (NCRPB) meeting, which was held on June 16 under the chairmanship of Housing Minister Manohar Lal, has decided to retain the existing geographical extent of NCR with no changes in the current area.

Under the Regional Plan-2041 for the NCR region, four semi-greenfield cities are proposed to be developed as mixed-use Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) at selected existing proposed stations on the Namo Bharat (RRTS) lines.
