Chandigarh, March 18 -- A 31-year-old property dealer was gunned down in broad daylight in the high-security Sector 9 area of Chandigarh on Wednesday.
The victim, identified as Charanpreet Singh, a resident of Kubbaheri village in Mullanpur, was targeted by bike-borne assailants as he was entering his car after exiting a local gym.
According to eyewitness accounts and preliminary police findings, the attackers fired approximately 12 rounds at Singh, who collapsed in the driving seat with multiple gunshot wounds to his chest, abdomen, and arms.
