New Delhi, April 27 -- Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) won the toss and elected to field against Delhi Capitals in an IPL clash here on Monday, banking on chasing under conditions expected to favour batting in the second innings.

Speaking at the toss, RCB skipper Rajat Patidar said the decision to bowl first was influenced by the nature of the venue.

"We will bowl first. This venue is a high-scoring ground, it will not make much difference, we will try to put them under pressure in the second innings. The most important thing is different players coming up and delivering in different matches. We have played some good cricket and continue to carry that momentum," he said.
