Berlin, Sept. 2 -- RB Leipzig have signed Spanish striker Marc Guiu from Chelsea on a contract until 2031 as the Bundesliga club strengthen their attacking options, Leipzigannounced.
The 20-year-old striker will wear the number nine shirt after leaving Chelsea following two seasons in England, where he made 29 competitive appearances and scored eight goals for the Blues.
Guiu said Leipzig's track record with young players and the club's ambitions were important factors in his decision, according to Xinhua.
