Bhubaneswar, June 1 -- The newly created Rayagada Railway Division of the East Coast Railway (ECoR) became operational on Monday, marking a significant step towards strengthening railway infrastructure, enhancing connectivity, and accelerating economic development across South Odisha and adjoining regions.
Railway officials said the division is expected to improve operational efficiency, strengthen project monitoring, facilitate better infrastructure planning, and expedite the execution of key railway development projects in the region.
