Lucknow, Aug. 7 -- Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) Uttar Pradesh President Dr. Ramashish Rai has resigned from his position as the state party chief and from the primary membership of the party, citing ideological and ethical reasons.
Dr. Rai sent his resignation letter on Friday to RLD National President and union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Jayant Chaudhary.
In his resignation letter, Dr. Rai expressed his gratitude to Jayant Chaudhary for giving him the responsibility of leading the Uttar Pradesh unit and said that he had worked to the best of his ability to strengthen the organisation during his tenure.
