Vikarabad (Telangana), Aug. 28 -- Delhi's Rashid Khan produced a stunning fightback from a bogey-bogey start to end a seven-year title drought, firing a five-under 67 in the final round to win the INR 1 crore Telangana Open 2026 by three strokes at Vooty Golf County here on Friday.
Rashid, who began the final round two shots behind overnight leader Angad Cheema, finished at a commanding 23-under 265 after rounds of 66, 67, 65 and 67 to claim his 15th professional title and 11th victory on the DP World Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI).
The victory, his first since May 2019, earned the 35-year-old INR 15 lakh and lifted him to sixth in the 2026 Order of Merit with season earnings of INR 44,95,509.
