Guwahati, Aug. 3 -- Actor, filmmaker and philanthropist Randeep Hooda travelled to Assam's flood-ravaged Sivasagar district to take part in relief operations, working alongside volunteers from the humanitarian organisation Global Sikhs to assist families displaced by the devastating floods.

Hooda spent two days in Sivasagar, distributing essential supplies such as ration kits, freshly prepared food, mattresses, tarpaulins, bedding, household items, and toiletries to flood-affected families taking shelter at Sivasagar railway station after being displaced from nearby villages submerged by floodwaters.
