Ranchi, March 29 -- Jharkhand Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar on Sunday inspected the under-construction modern library at Morabadi here and reviewed the progress of the Rs 65-crore project.

Union Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth was also present during the visit.

Officials said the library, being built with CSR support from Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) and Coal India Limited, is likely to be completed by June-July and opened for students by August.

The facility is expected to accommodate around 5,000 students at a time and will have modern reading and study infrastructure.

Gangwar said the library would emerge as an important academic centre for students in Ranchi and across Jharkhand.
