Ranchi, June 13 -- The Election Commission has launched special camps across polling stations in Jharkhand to accelerate voter mapping under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise, with Ranchi emerging as the lowest-performing district ahead of the June 15 deadline.
According to official data, only 65.84 per cent of voters in Ranchi have been mapped with the 2003 electoral roll, compared to the state average of 78.60 per cent.
Among Assembly constituencies in the district, Hatia recorded the lowest mapping rate at 50.84 per cent, while Mandar registered the highest at 82.98 per cent.
