Ranchi, March 10 -- Panic gripped Ranchi Civil Court premises on Tuesday after it received a bomb threat for a third time in recent days. Police sources said the threat was sent through email, similar to the previous two incidents.
Following the alert, a team of Ranchi police conducted a thorough search operation across the court premises. However, no suspicious object was found during the inspection.
Police said that earlier, the court had also received bomb threats on February 6 and February 28. Apart from the court, threats had also been issued to the Ranchi Collectorate building and the passport office Ranchi. In all these cases, search operations were carried out, but no dangerous or suspicious materials were recovered.
