Lucknow, July 12 -- : Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP and Uttar Pradesh in-charge Sanjay Singh on Sunday alleged that the Uttar Pradesh government has curtailed the scope of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probe into alleged irregularities related to the construction of the Ram Temple and land purchases linked to the project.
Addressing a press conference in Lucknow, Singh claimed that despite earlier assurances of a thorough investigation, the SIT would not examine allegations concerning construction work or land transactions. He alleged that corruption in the project was being shielded and announced that he would approach the court with 26 documents that he said supported his allegations.
