Ayodhya, June 15 -- The Special Investigation Team (SIT) investigating alleged embezzlement and financial irregularities at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya arrived here on Monday afternoon.
According to sources, the team went directly to the Ram Temple Trust office and began the investigation. Information was obtained from Champat Rai, general secretary of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.
According to sources, the employees suspected of theft have been housed in a room at the trust. The SIT will interrogate them. The team will also first gather information from the IPS officer who traveled from Delhi for the undercover investigation.
Before arriving in Ayodhya, the SIT met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow. The three-memb...
