Nagpur, July 16 -- : Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut on Thursday demanded that Ram Mandir Trust treasurer Govind Giri be brought under the ambit of the investigation as the alleged misappropriation of donations at the Ayodhya Ram Temple took place during his tenure.
Speaking to mediapersons in Nagpur, Raut said that if the alleged financial irregularities occurred while Giri was serving as the Trust's treasurer, he could not be absolved of responsibility and should also face a probe.
He said accountability must be determined for every individual connected with the alleged embezzlement, irrespective of the office they hold.
