Dharamshala, Aug. 5 -- Police have arrested a man after recovering 293 grams of poppy husk (chura post) from his possession in Rakkar area of Kangra district, in Himachal Pradesh police said here on Wednesday.
Dehra district superintendent of Police Sandeep Dhawal told UNI that an FIR (No. 42/26), dated August 4, 2026, was registered at Rakkar Police Station under Sections 15, 61 and 85 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act against Paramjit Singh, a resident of Sahuwal village in Haroli tehsil.
