Ranchi, May 22 -- The Election Commission has announced elections to two Rajya Sabha seats from Jharkhand, with polling scheduled for June 18.
According to the election schedule, the notification will be issued on June 1 and nominations can be filed till June 8. Scrutiny of nomination papers will take place on June 9, while June 11 has been fixed as the last date for withdrawal of candidature.
Polling, if required, will be held from 9 am to 4 pm on June 18 and counting of votes will begin at 5 pm the same day. The election process is scheduled to be completed by June 20.
