Itanagar, July 14 -- Rajya Sabha MP from Arunachal Pradesh, Tai Tagak, on Tuesday urged the Central Government to sanction a special relief and rehabilitation package for flood-ravaged Arunachal Pradesh, saying the scale of devastation caused by recent flash floods and landslides is beyond the State Government's capacity to manage alone.
Addressing a press conference at the State BJP office here, Tagak said major disasters have been reported from Keyi Panyor, the Siang belt, Kurung Kumey, Tirap and several other districts, with around 15 districts severely affected.
