New Delhi, June 12 -- Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh were among the 24 leaders elected unopposed to the Rajya Sabha from 10 states. All but three of the 27 Rajya Sabha seats were decided on Thursday, with NDA candidates winning 19 seats unopposed and the Congress securing five.

Elections for two seats in Jharkhand and one in Mizoram will be held on June 18.

In Madhya Pradesh, the BJP won all three seats unopposed after Congress candidate Meenakshi Natarajan's nomination was rejected by the returning officer.
