Hyderabad, June 12 -- : Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday said India must equip its armed forces with state-of-the-art systems in adequate numbers and within stipulated timelines to effectively address future security challenges.

Inaugurating the Advanced Weapon System Complex at the Defence Research and Development Organisation's (DRDO) Defence Research and Development Laboratory (DRDL) in Hyderabad, Rajnath Singh called for the rapid transition of indigenous defence technologies from development to large-scale production.
