Lucknow, June 18 -- Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party ( SBSP) chief and Uttar Pradesh Panchayatiraj Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar on Thursday repeated his claim that a split with the Samajwadi Party is imminent.

He told reporters that most of the SP MPs from Purvanchal will leave the party before the monsoon session of the Lok Sabha. " Akhilesh Yadav is also aware that his MPs are leaving the party, so he issued a statement on Wednesday that the weak will leave the party," Rajbhar added.

Yesterday, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya too hinted in Kanpur that the SP will split, but the BJP has no hand in it. He too mentioned that around 25 MPs of SP could desert the party.
