Udaipur, March 8 -- Two farmers were mauled in separate incidents of attack by sloth of bears in Sayara range of the Gogunda sub division of the district today.
According to police and villagers, a group of three bears attacked and mauled a farmer in tribal-dominated region Sayara range of the Gogunda sub division in this district early this morning.
The victim farmer Pema Ram Gameti of Notal-Ki-Bhagal village was going to the agriculture field in the morning when a group of 3 bears attacked and mauled him badly.
Another farmer in the vicinity Bhairon Lal Suthar raised alarm to repel the animals and called villagers for help.
Pemaram was rushed to nearby Gogunda Hospital from where he was referred to the Udaipur Hospital.
