Jaipur, June 20 -- Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has termed "post caesarean delivery deaths in Kota and Bikaner as "institutional failure" of the state government and demanded to file FIRs and other departmental actions against the involved doctors and officers.
Gehlot who earlier this week visited the New Medical College Hospital Kota, met women who are still being treated at the hospital and inquired about their health and condition.
Expressing concern over "negligence - dereliction of duty" by doctors and officials, he has written a letter to Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma seeking justice for the victim women, most of whom come from economically weaker section of society.
