Jaipur, July 7 -- Four members of a family were killed on the spot and a woman was critically injured after being run over by a high speed truck trailer in Heerapura area on outskirts of Jaipur here today morning.
The family of five, leading a nomadic life, earning life by selling balloons and toys at traffic signals and other roadside locations, were sitting on the pavement along the Jaipur-Ajmer Highway waiting for bus.
Around 9.45 am today the trailer approached towards them at rash speed, hit and broke about 100 metres railing along the road and ran over the family. It reduced the bodies of 3 minor children in badly mutilated pieces and their parents were injured critically.
