Bengaluru, Aug. 25 -- Former Karnataka Minister KN Rajanna has launched an aggressive political strategy to secure the chairmanship of the Karnataka State Cooperative Apex Bank, setting the stage for a fresh face-off with Chief Minister D K Shivakumar.
Rajanna, who has been eyeing the powerful cooperative post since his exit from the state Cabinet, is leaving little to chance as the election to the vacant chairmanship appears to be drawing closer. He has been reaching out to Apex Bank directors and is believed to have built considerable support for his candidature.
