Jaipur, Sept. 15 -- The Rajasthan State Election Commission today issued a notification for the election of Mayors and/ or Chairpersons in 305 of total 309 civic bodies that went to polls on September 9 and 11 last week.
However, the electoral process for electing mayors/ deputy mayors or chairpersons/ deputy chairpersons has been deferred in the 4 civic bodies-- the Jaipur, Jodhpur and Kota Municipal Corporations and the Suket Municipal Committee in the Kota district due to withholding of the results for facilitating repoll at some booths.
