Jaipur, June 4 -- Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has asked for stepping up alertness and surveillance in districts along the Indo-Pak international border for curbing cross-border crimes.
Chairing a high-level review meeting on issues of the state Home department here Wednesday evening, the Chief Minister said "Intensify surveillance and maintain high alert in the bordering areas to effectively curb attempts of smuggling through drones and check other illegal activities.
Sharma, who himself holds the Home portfolio, has directed that the District Collectors and Police Superintendents of the bordering districts should ensure better coordination at all levels for timely actions to prevent and curb activities of criminals.
