Neeraj BaliChandigarh, Oct. 21 -- A 55-year-old businessman from Chhattisgarh was found unconscious in a room at a luxury hotel in Chandigarh on Wednesday and was later declared dead at a hospital, according to local media reports citing police.
The deceased was identified as Deepak Mittal, a resident of Raipur, who had reportedly checked into Taj Chandigarh in Sector 17 about two days earlier.
Police from Sector 17 police station reached the hotel after being informed of the incident, while a forensic team was called to examine the room.
According to the reports, a hotel staff member found Mittal unresponsive in his room on Wednesday. He was subsequently taken to a hospital, where doctors declared him dead. His body was shifted to the m...
