WEATHER TN RAINSChennai, Aug. 9 -- Chennai city and its neigbouring districts has been experiencing rainfall during the last couple of days, with heavy spells during late evening hours, thanks to the presence of an upper air cyclonic circulation over North coastal Tamil Nadu,which has brought down the mercury level by a few degrees, even as the Met office on Sunday said the similar weather pattern would continue for the next few days.
The Chennai city and suburbs and adjoining districts of Chengalpattu, Tiruvallur and Kancheepuram and Western Ghat regions had been getting rains for the last few days.
