Panchkula, July 23 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) today forecast an increase in rainfall activity across Haryana, Punjab and Delhi from July 27, with fairly widespread rainfall likely over the region during the last three days of the seven-day forecast period.

The weather office has also predicted widespread rainfall throughout the week in Himachal Pradesh, while scattered to fairly widespread precipitation is expected to continue over the Western Himalayan region.
