Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 2 -- Even as rainfall across Kerala has subsided compared to the previous day, the State Government remains on high alert, with the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) closely monitoring the rain-related disaster situation through constant coordination with the Revenue Minister, ministers in charge of the districts, and district administrations.
The CMO said on Sunday that the easing of rainfall has brought some relief, enabling authorities to begin cleaning operations in flood-affected areas. Political workers and voluntary organisations have been urged to actively participate in the clean-up drive, with the government assuring full support for rehabilitation efforts.
