Chandigarh, June 9 -- : Thunderstorms, hail, and gusty winds swept across several parts of Haryana on Tuesday, bringing respite from scorching temperatures but also causing disruptions to transport, power supply, and daily life in multiple districts.
The sudden weather activity affected large parts of central and western Haryana, with rain reported from Rohtak, Rewari, Bhiwani, Hansi, and Mahendragarh, while hailstorms were witnessed in pockets of Sirsa, Fatehabad, and Charkhi Dadri. Strong winds accompanied the change in weather, leading to fallen trees, damaged power infrastructure, and localised waterlogging.
