Panchkula, Sept. 3 -- The Railway Board has issued fresh consolidated guidelines on qualifying-mark relaxations for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe employees seeking promotion against reserved vacancies, while making it clear that no relaxation in qualifying standards will be available for safety-category posts.
The guidelines, issued on August 31, apply to promotions within Group 'C' and from Group 'C' to Group 'B' in non-safety categories.
