Panchkula, Aug. 30 -- The Railway Board has tightened safeguards governing official records and government data, barring its officials from copying files and other official information onto personal devices, email accounts, or cloud storage, and making the proper handover of records, IT assets, and login credentials mandatory when relinquishing charge.
The fresh guidelines apply to all Railway Board officials, irrespective of grade, in cases of transfer, posting, promotion, deputation, retirement, long leave, or any other event resulting in the relinquishment of a seat.
