Panchkula, July 31 -- Aspiring railway employees must now complete an updated medical self-declaration form before sitting for recruitment medical exams.

The Railway Board has refreshed the format outlined in the Indian Railway Medical Manual, making this new form mandatory for all upcoming recruitment medical checks.

The Railway Board introduced the revised declaration after closely examining the collection of medical declarations for recruitment candidates. The update also introduces new guidelines for LASIK eye surgery and reflects changes to the recruitment process for Assistant Loco Pilots under CEN No. 01/2026.
