Panchkula, Aug. 31 -- After concerns about railway pensioners' access to senior officials were raised, the Railway Board has told all zonal railways and production units to follow existing rules that allow meetings with pensioners' groups and address complaints from retired employees.
The matter was raised at the 35th meeting of the Standing Committee of Voluntary Agencies (SCOVA) on March 10, 2026. Pensioners' representatives sought informal meetings with Divisional Railway Managers and General Managers to raise their concerns directly.
