Panchkula, Aug. 18 -- The Railway Board has flagged an instance of unauthorised payment of medical reimbursement claims allegedly processed through the Integrated Payroll and Accounting System (iPAS) without the requisite medical documents and reimbursement claims.
In an advisory issued to the Railways, the Board has directed that adequate checks and balances be put in place to ensure that no medical reimbursement claim is registered or passed without complete supporting documents and due verification.
