Panchkula, July 31 -- The Railway Board has increased the travel entitlement for senior railway employees using Privilege Pass (PP), Post-Retirement Complimentary Pass (PRCP), and Widow Pass (WP) in the Chair Car (CC) class of Shatabdi Express-type trains.
The new entitlement now matches the number of seats permitted in 3-AC coaches of Rajdhani and Duronto Express trains.
According to a Railway Board circular, this benefit applies to employees in Pay Level Matrix (PLPM) Levels 11 to 17. Eligible employees may now book four Chair Car seats on Shatabdi Express-type trains with PP, PRCP, or WP, up from the previous limit of two.
